Sunair Electronics is seeking an experienced Technical Sales and Business Development Associate with a demonstrated track record of success. This individual must havea
1) depth of knowledge of the strategic communications market, with emphasis on HF products.
2) significant experience in business development and sales in both the US and international markets.
3) demonstrated experience with US DOD/Government procurement .

As a Technical sales and Business Development Associate you can expect to:
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the US and international markets.
  • Execute on sales upon developing qualified opportunities.
  • Develop strategic business plan for marketing of products to US Department of Defense and Governmental Agencies.
  • Communicate customer feedback to engineering, operations and sales to enhance existing products, search for ways to improve product stability and market differentiation while reducing cost.
  • Monitor the development of business plans and assess market penetration and product positioning to drive Sunair competitive advantage, revenue and market share.
Required Experience:
7+ years of Business Development management experience with HF/VHF/ UHF products.
  • 7+ years of experience in military or government HF radio or a closely related field.
  • Expert knowledge of the HF radio commercial and military market.
  • Extensive experience in existing account growth and new account development.
  • Dynamic individual ideally with domestic_ and international sales experience._
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree
Miscellaneous Requirements:
  • Proficiency with MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access).
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in a team environment.
