Customer Service/ Sales Support

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Support the Sales, Business Development, and Customer Service Team by being an effective internal coordinator and executor of customer deliverables, including: quotations, bids and proposals, order management and logistics, repairs, and technical support. Requires interfacing with majority of departments within the company, including: Sales, Manufacturing, Manufacturing and Logistics
Essential Duties and Functions:
  • Provide information related to customer quotations and orders in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the entire order production from factory to the end-user and flag concerns related to: material control, product configuration, and additional customer requirements
  • Respond to service requests and technical inquires. Act as a coordinator between customer and internal engineering and manufacturing resources to address customer technical issues.
  • Address complaints and ensures maximum good will from transactions.
  • Generate sales orders based on customer’s purchase orders and as required by the stated policy and practice of the organization.
  • Ensure that there are no gaps in the terms specified in the purchase orders and as required by the stated policy and practice of the organization.
  • Monitor order completion status and synchronize issue of invoice to the customer for release of payment.
  • Understand the manufacturing processes of different product lines of the company and liaise with the application engineer to resolve issues that arise at the vendor or customer’s end.
  • And all other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales support, customer service, or technical sales
  • RF radio industry experience preferred, but not necessary; familiarity with manufacturing process preferred
  • Desire and ability to develop new accounts
  • Enthusiastic, highly-motivated, individual with serious work ethic; action-oriented
  • Ability to succeed in challenging and changing environment
  • Strong communication skills and desire to take initiative
  • Able to work independently, tenacious; goal oriented
  • Knowledge of ERP systems desired
  • Must be proficient in MS Office
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelors degree
