Position Description
A unique opportunity within a small successful company to develop and manage an existing line of strategic and tactical HF radio transceivers and related systems.
You will be the primary focus to identify key requirements for targeted market segments.  You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company.  You will work with an engineering counterpart to define product release requirements costs and schedules. You will develop marketing communications to define product positioning, key benefits, and target customers.  You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for the product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the product line road maps from strategic planning to end-of-life.
  • Define the product positioning and market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research, visits to customers, potential-customers , industry conferences and other sources.
  • Develop revenue and profit forecasts.
  • Develop a trade show presence and marketing collateral.
  • Identify and analyze potential partner relationships for the products.
  • 10+ years of system marketing or product management experience.
  • 5+ years in military or government HF radio or a closely related field.
  • Expert knowledge of the HF radio commercial and military market, standards and certifications.
    Educational Requirements
  • Bachelors’ degree in a technical related field preferred
           Security Clearance
  • Not currently required, but must be clearable
